Dr. Naresh Trehan is a distinguished Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic surgeon with over 40 years of experience. He completed his medical studies at King George Medical College and pursued further training at New York University Medical Center in Manhattan, USA. He holds certifications from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Trehan has performed over 48,000 cardiac surgeries. He was the visionary behind the establishment of the Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre and currently serves as the Chairman and Managing Director at Medanta - The Medicity.
